Watercolor Guest Portraits are the ultimate party favor for weddings, birthdays, holiday parties, and corporate events. These quick little paintings are both fun and expressive, as well as mini works of art in their own right. Guest portraits are created from a photograph, and take between 5 - 15 minutes per individual/couple, depending on your selected portrait package style.

Quick black line sketch with watercolor wash. Each portrait takes 4 minutes (10 minutes per couple). Great for larger events.

Quick black line sketch with simple faces and a wash of watercolor. Each portrait takes 6 minutes (12- 14 minutes per couple)

Watercolor portraits with greater attention to realism and subtle facial features. Great for intimate gatherings of no more than 15 people, or for a complete-after-event option.

Guest Portraits are Getting an Upgrade!
2026 brought on many customizations to my Guest Portrait offerings, and in the process, I have honed in on three styles that both resonate most for me as an artist, and seem to be most popular with guests. That said, customization is an option, so please share your vision and we can see what is possible!
Also, my prices below reflect all of my travel costs and my assistant fees. As always, for larger parties, I offer the option to complete additional portraits after the event at a rate of $100 per hour. This ensures no guest misses out and eliminates the need to turn anyone away!
2027 Prices
Pricing is based on a per-hour rate (three-hour minimum), and includes all fees associated with travel to and from the event (mileage plus artist’s accommodations for up to two nights), as well as assistant fees.
Please note: Guest portraits are painted on a first-come, first served basis unless otherwise specified. For larger parties, it is highly recommended to add the “option to complete additional portraits” package. This offering ensures that all of your guests are painted. A studio rate of $100 per hour applies (total price is dependent upon guest count and package selected). Shipping of portraits to the client is included.
