Live Event Guest Portraits
I’m so excited to offer Guest Portraits for your special event! Guest portraits are very quick, gestural watercolors that are both entertaining for your guests, and allow your most special people to have a take-home artifact to commemorate the occasion! Guest portraits are created from a photograph, and take between 5 - 15 minutes per couple, depending on your selected portrait package style.

Simple
Quick black line sketch with option for watercolor wash or no color. Each image takes 5-10 minutes. Great for larger events.

Elaborate
Watercolor portraits with details and shading. Each image takes 15 minutes to create. Great for small events.
(4-5 portraits per hour)
2025 Prices
Pricing is based on a per-hour rate (three-hour minimum), and includes all fees associated with travel to and from the event (mileage plus artist’s accommodations for up to two nights). In most cases I will be accompanied by an assistant to capture the photographic references.
Please note: Guest portraits are painted on a first-come, first served basis unless otherwise specified. In the event that you would like all of your guest’s painted, I am happy to offer a customized package that includes live painting for 4-5 hours, followed by completing all remaining portraits in my home studio. I will work with an assistant to photograph all guests, and once all portraits are complete I will deliver them to you to distribute to your guests. This is ideal for larger weddings. Quote for this service will include an additional $400 assistant fee, plus time needed to complete the portraits in the studio (dependent upon package selected and number of portraits).
