Set at the elegant Aegialis Hotel and Spa, this retreat includes comfort, nourishment, and uninterrupted creative time.

    • 7 nights at the Aegialis Hotel & Spa (Private or shared rooms with Aegean view)

    • Transfers to/from the port of Amorgos

About your Host

I am an art educator, fine artist, and Live Wedding Painter with 20 years of teaching experience ranging from pre-k, to high school, to university, and beyond. I have led community mural projects, hosted retreats, led workshops, and mentored future art-educators. I believe in the power of art in balancing our minds, hearts, and souls - it is truly what makes us human.

I first visited the island of Amorgos in 2016 when my sister Sonja and I launched Recharge Escapes, a Pilates and art retreat company. Since then, we’ve hosted four retreats at the Aegialis Hotel & Spa, each one deepening my connection to this breathtaking place.

In the spring of 2025, I brought a group of my high school students to Amorgos for an art-focused service-learning trip. Working closely with the local community further solidified my bond with the island and inspired me to create a retreat for adults. Amorgos is a place that fuels creativity—whether through its stunning sea views, rugged landscapes, or the strong community grounded in age-old traditions.
